Massage Oil Recipes
Massage is a great way to improve skin and muscle tone as well as
circulation. Incorporating special blends of essential oils into
your massage sessions can enhance the experience even more and
rejuvenate, refresh, and relax your muscles, tendons, and other
connective tissues. Plus, you'll smell as refreshed as you feel!
Exotic Spice Massage Oil
Blend 10 tsp. olive oil, 6 drops of ginger essential oil, 4 drops
jasmine essential oil, and 2 drops orange essential oil into a
ceramic bowl. Heat over stove on low heat until lukewarm or place
bowl in sink filled with hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage
into skin using fingertips.
Spring Breeze Massage Oil
Blend 10 tsp. grapeseed oil, 5 drops of rosewood essential oil, 2
drops cedarwood essential oil, and 2 drops chamomile essential
oil. Heat over stove on low heat until lukewarm or place bowl in
sink filled with hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage into
skin using fingertips.
Arabian Nights Massage Oil
Blend 10 tsp. olive oil, 6 drops sandalwood essential oil, 4 drops
cedarwood essential oil, and 4 drops bergamot essential oil. Heat
over stove on low heat until lukewarm or place bowl in sink filled
with hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage into skin using
fingertips.
Romantic Musk Massage Oil
Blend 10 tsp. of grapeseed oil, 10 drops musk essential oil, 6
drops frankincense essential oil, and 4 drops jasmine essential
oil. Heat over stove on low heat until lukewarm or place bowl in
sink filled with hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage into
skin using fingertips.
Warm-up Massage Oil
This is wonderful for improving circulation and muscle tone. Blend
10 tsp. of grapeseed oil, 6 drops of white thyme essential oil, 6
drops of rosemary essential oil, and 3 drops palmarosa. Heat over
stove on low heat until lukewarm or place bowl in sink filled with
hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage into skin using
fingertips.
Cool-down Massage Oil
Makes your skin tingle and relaxes your muscles after a hard
workout. Blend 10 tsp. grapeseed oil, 4 drops eucalyptus essential
oil, 4 drops peppermint essential oil, and 4 drops essential
ginger oil. Heat over stove on low heat until lukewarm or place
bowl in sink filled with hot water. When oil is lukewarm, massage
into skin using fingertips.
